Yesterday Prince William threw a star studded charity event in aid of The Royal Marshden Hospital, of which he is president. Numerous stars attended the ball and for once, I am pleased to say that almost every attendee looked stunning at the event. The black tie evening provided elegance and a regal air which can only be produced by such a prestigious invite. Stars such as Cara Delevigne, Kate Moss and Emma Watson stole the show for me, proving that simplicity is key whilst each still honing their personal style. Have a look below to see my favourite outfits of the evening, along with one of two which didn’t quite hit the mark:
Emma Watson in Ralph Lauren Collection with Roger Vivier clutch:
Emma stole the show for me in this simple, utterly elegant Ralph Lauren Collection ensemble paired with simple hair and a statement red lip, keeping it young and modern – the picture of British chic.
Cara Delevigne in Ralph Lauren Collection:
Next we have the one and only Cara, also in Ralph Lauren Collection, keeping it modern, appropriate and chic with a pulled back chignon and a dramatic winged eye.
Cate Blanchett in RLC:
Cate Blanchett looked absolutely STUNNING here almost passing for a royal herself. She wore this RLC look with an effortlessness not to be matched.
Lily James in RLC with Fashion House Accessories:
The Downton Abbey star looked like a runway model in this Lauren creation whilst adding a bit more drama than other attendees with the highly embellished top half of the dress.
Moss and her husband looked simple and chic, nothing to run home screaming about, but certainly perfect for the occasion.
Sophie Turner in RLC with RLC accessories:
Although not amazing, young Sophie looked beautiful and youthful in this RLC gown and is certainly on the right path in her fashion carreer.
The slightly disappointing, yet still commendable:
Helena Bonham Carter in RLC:
Known for her insanely wacky style Helena toned it back and thensome for the event and although this is not a great look overall, she does look amazing for her! Fair play to her for retaining the crazy and going for a more sophisticated, fashionable look – I like!
Margot Robbie in RLC with Fashion House accessories:
This was probably my least favourite look of the evening with the liquid silver dress just doing nothing for Margot and her flawless features. It ages her tremendously and doesn’t do the beauty justice at all – still though, she looks nice!
What do you think of the style – yes or no?
Thanks guys 🙂
