Lucky Blue Smith: Male Model of the Moment 2016

Lucky Blue Smith is undoubtedly the male model of the moment. From shooting campaigns for Tom Ford and Tommy Hilfiger to being a guest on TV shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and having garnered over 2 million Instagram subscribers by the tender age of 17, whether you know his name or not, you most definitely have encountered Lucky Blue in some manner. Scouted at the age of 10, signed at the age of 12 and joined by his 3 model sisters, Lucky Blue’s life certainly has a fairytale-esque feel to it. For instance, not only was the model signed at just 12 years old, but his first shoot was for Vogue Hommes Japan. Yes, you read that correctly – a 12 year old boy’s first ever photoshoot was for Vogue. It’s time like this where I begin to question my productivity in the past decade of my life…

12 year old Lucky Blue’s Vogue Hommes Japan shoot by Hedi Slimane:

One could argue that he is the Jennifer Lawrence of the modelling world; one day a regular person like you and me and then suddenly plucked from the walks of normality to take his modelling field by storm. What are undeniable, are Lucky Blue’s undeniable talent and his unique looks. Beginning with his peroxide hair at the top of his 6′ 3″ stature, you need only drop an inch or two until you gaze into his enchanting ice-blue eyes and though he carries a somewhat cookie-cutter all American look, there is most certainly something intriguing about the youth, which makes him stand out from the pack.

Not only are his looks attractive, but so is his personality. Having already allotted the world with the information that he is interested in pursuing acting, Luck Blue is also a drummer, and a pretty good one at that. One fourth of the family band ‘The Atomics’, on top of ambition, looks, youth and star quality, Lucky Blue can officially add cool to his repertoire. In fact, the foursome of siblings are all pretty impressive and combined form a magnetic troop.

Though the Smith family are a powerful bunch, we are here primarily to speak of Lucky Blue, so let’s get back to business. Evidently not affecting his career thus far, one interesting fact about Lucky Blue is that he is a mormon. Obviously, not directly correlated with modelling, I find this engaging as Lucky Blue is clearly a strong role model. Self-described as a rebellious type it will be intriguing to see if his religious background will aid him in maintaining his purity in the modelling world.

More important for this post, however, is his amazing body of work so far. Though beginning his modelling at 12, Lucky Blue’s career really became busy at the age of 14 and has exploded since the beginning of 2015. Here we’ll look at some of his work that both grabbed my attention and illustrate different sides to Lucky Blue.

The understated cool:

As well as being a multi-faceted model, Lucky Blue has worked for multiple brands and covered an array of magazines. This, perhaps more than anything else, is what has cemented his title as a current leading male model.

Numerous models, both male and female, have a hoard of social media followers, have strutted down more catwalks than they can remember and have host a stunning shots in their portfolios. When you add television appearances and magazine covers to this, however, you are not a mere working model, you are on your way to becoming a household name. Below are some of Lucky Blue’s high-profile shoots:

I feel like that might be enough Lucky Blue Smith for one post. The last thing that I would want to do is oversaturate your mind with the brilliant model! That said, it is clear from the discussion and shots about that Lucky Blue Smith is a force to be reckoned with. A triple-threat with youth, looks, talent and popularity on his side, I have a feeling that 2.1 million Instagram followers and a lucrative modelling career may just be the beginning for this starlet.

Visuals 2 – Favourite Fashion Shots From the Last Month

Continuing on from my first visuals’ post (to see click here), I have decided to make this post type a trend on my blog. So often does one focus on a specific show, shoot or collection that it is nice sometimes to relax and just see what catches your eye. For my visuals posts, I garner the majority of my images from my tumblr account, where I find an array of images that excite my neurons and set my creative juices flowing. To coin the heavily-utilised phrase, a picture is indeed worth a thousand words, but more importantly for me, pictures allow one to take what they wish from them. They are not rigid in their expressions. They do not define what one aught to learn or know. They do not present a mere right or wrong. They are personal. They enable the viewer to relate to them, to get lost in their whimsy, or merely to find a stellar outfit that needs to be a part of the viewer’s wardrobe! With that said, it is high time that I practice what I preach and allow some of the most eye-catching and inspiring fashion-related pictures that I have found over the last month to hopefully set a spark alight in your mind. Please enjoy:

Emmys 2015 – Worst of The Night.

So unlike my prior post on the fashion seen at this year’s Emmys, this post might have just a tad bit of negativity thrown into the mix!

As always, we expect to see the good bad and in-between at all award shows and boy oh boy did the Emmys not disappoint. For all of the dazzling beauts of the evening have a look here at my Best Dressed post, but for some horrendous looks, some of which will curl your toes, then continue on and scroll to find the horror below.

Let’s kick things off with the worst of the worst…

Heidi Klum in Versace dress and shoes with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery:

rs_634x1024-150920150302-634.heidi-klum-emmy-awards-2015-092015

Where on earth did this canary yellow disaster pop out of?! Heidi is a stunning supermodel with beauty and brains to boot and then she comes out looking like someone made her dress out of some very distressed canaries – this is an absolute disaster. Although it still wouldn’t have been nice, she could have at least taken off that God awful sleeve and lapel combination, I mean it’s not like she trying to cover anything up! From shoulders to toes this is a horrendous and tacky ensemble. Genuinely all that I can think of is that if I was a canary I’d rather be in a coal mine than be associated with this dress. One positive: at least this wasn’t designed by any of her Project Runway designers because that would have been the start and end of their career in one foul swoop! Heidi… get a stylist!

GettyImages-489358476_master.nocrop.w445.h670

Dascha Polanco:

Dascha Polanco

Following on from our supermodel in distress we have Dascha Polance from Orange Is The New Black. Dascha is a beautiful, curvy woman, but here she is doing herself zero favours. Although the voluptuous form isn’t your usual Hollywood stereotype, you can make the best of your body no matter what shape or size you are and unfortunately, that is exactly the opposite of what Dascha is doing. That sheer skirt and slit just isn’t pretty. The dress as a whole is boring and not that cute, but if Dascha had just lowered the slit a few inches (maybe like 8…) then this would flatter her so  much better. This just isn’t good.

Kathryn Hahn in Vivienne Westwood with Eva Fehren jewels:

Kathryn Hayn

I hate to be mean, but Kathryn’s dress is hideous! This macabre frock is genuinely one of the worst things I have laid my eyes upon. I would say that perhaps this would look good on a model or someone, but being honest, I can’t find any good qualities about it. It looks like someone found two pairs of their nanna’s old curtains, sowed them together, threw on some make-up and hoped that no one would notice… #DIYCinderella!

Julianne Hough in Marchesa with a Jimmy Choo clutch:

slide_453162_6073776_compressed

Julianne looks like a modern day wicked witch of the west gone wrong in this ensemble. This dress just is not nice on her and 100% is not for an occasion like this. The sad thing is that I do think that the dress could be stunning on someone with model proportions to a different event though (I know I’m obsessed with her, but Sophie Turner perhaps?). One saving glory for Julianne is that although that head-band sucks, her hair is cute from the back!

Julianne-Hough

Amy Schumer in Zac Posen:

slide_453162_6074182_compressed

Fair play to Amy for her amazing Emmy win, but this look was certainly not worthy. Like Dascha, Amy has some curves, but apparently doesn’t know how to use them. I find this look very surprising because even though Zac Posen isn’t always my favourite designer, he usually sculpts beautifully to the body – something which he didn’t quite get here. This gown hugs Amy in all the wrong places, her hair looks like she just had sex in the limo before hopping out and I can just tell that she had to keep pulling it up at her chest region all night.

slide_453136_6072772_compressed

Danielle Brooks:

slide_453142_6072632_compressed

Looking more parrot than canary, it seems like Danielle Brook and Heidi Klum were birds of a feather at last night’s Emmys. Tropical bird puns aside, Danielle certainly wasn’t looking too tasty on the night (sometimes I just can’t help myself). This dress was too tight on the thighs and adding extra fabric to a larger woman is never a good idea. Even twirling couldn’t help her case… next!

150920192703-37-emmys-red-carpet-super-169

Christine Marzano:

This woman is absolutely stunning, but there is no excuse for this dress. Obviously trying to make a name for herself, Marzano walked the carpet in this next to nothing attire. Now, I am never one for this as I just think that it’s tacky, but asides from that, there are literally children at this event and you rock up practically naked – really Christine? If I was on the Emmy committee I wouldn’t have let her in – it’s not like she’s important anyway…

Next we have 3 dresses which, although I don’t like anyway, are here for their terrible fabric choices. This fabric should never be seen on a red carpet:

Elizabeth Moss in Oscar de la Renta:

150920201623-70-emmys-red-carpet-super-169

Uzo Aduba in Jonathan Cohen:

150920200126-62-emmys-red-carpet-super-169

I don’t even know who this woman is…

150920192748-41-emmys-red-carpet-super-169

Carice Van Houten:

Carice Van Houten

Judging from this look, I think that maybe the red lady should stick to her colour. Carice is a beautiful woman and has killed it on the red carpet before, but unfortunately here she just isn’t looking her best. This colour washes her out, it doesn’t fit nicely and when you look at it closely, parts of the dress even look unfinished! For someone who has see in the future she really should have seen this one coming. Not a good look for her at all.

Emma Myles:

GettyImages-489365458_master.nocrop.w445.h670

Her hair and make-up are pretty, but I honestly can’t even begin to comment on the dress… This are so many things wrong with it that there’s no point in even trying!

Maggie Gyllenhaal in Oscar de la Renta:

Maggie Gyllenhal

A bad night for the Oscar de la Renta brand, this is yet another dress designed with horrific fabric. Maggie is accustomed to donning garments with her own off-beat personal style and I completely encourage that, but not with this fabric. What is up with everyone picking these crinkly, unflattering textiles?

Alan Cumming:

Alan Cumming

The worst male of the night, Alan came with enough spare fabric for a whole other suit! I’m wondering if he’s ever come across the world ‘tailoring’? Quirky tie and pants aside, the weather at the Emmys yesterday was beautiful and really warm, which begs the question – why on earth is he wearing crocs and holding an umbrella?!

Julie Klausner:

Julie Klausner

If January Jones showed us all how to rock a green jumpsuit, Julie Klausner has shown us exactly how not. The general theme of this post so far, Julie is wearing something with both bad fit and bad fabric. This jumpsuit makes Julie look much bigger than she is and then her hair just looks like she’s going to the shop to buy dinner. Overall, this is not a good look and the sleeves don’t certainly don’t help.

Tracee Ellis Ross and Jane Krakowski:

Neithr Tracee nor Jane chose the right looks this time round. Both stars are wearing gowns which are uncomfortably tight to the extent that they can’t even stand how they normally do. Tracee’s is sucking her in in the torso and flattening her chest while Jane’s just looks uncomfortable all round.

Helen McCrory:

Helen McCrory

I’m sorry Helen, but you’re at a celebrity award ceremony, I don’t care if it’s sunny – take off the God damn glasses. Oh, and your dress isn’t nice either.

Chelsea Peretti in Gabriela Cadena:

Chelsea Perretti

Finishing off our fashion failures is Chelsea Peretti in a gown which just isn’t right. I don’t particularly like this dress anyway, but asides from that it just doesn’t suit her, and you can tell by her face that she thinks the same thing! At the end of the day, you can get the most stunning dress in all of existence, but if it doesn’t suit you then I’m afraid you just need to let it be and that’s what Chelsea should have done here. Two positives though – her leg looks amazing and I really like her shoes too!

Well that’s that folks! If you made it to the end of this post then congratulations because I’m sure you’re as tired as I am after looking at all of those looks 😛

Emmys 2015 – Best Fashion of The Night.

150920200134-63-emmys-red-carpet-super-169

Last night brought about one of my favourite nights in the celebrity fashion calendar, namely the highly anticipated Emmys.

For those of you who don’t know, The Emmys is essentially the Oscars of the television world and in true Emmy fashion, all of America’s TV’s biggest stars arrived. From gowns to cocktail dresses and jumpsuits to just plain old suits, there was a variety of styles sported on the night and it certainly lead to a feast for the eyes.

Admittedly, I love posting about the worst looks of the night (it allows me to unleash the inner bitch in me), but as I haven’t posted in a while I thought that it’d be better to start things off on a positive note. So without further adieu, let’s scroll through and see the most stunning and successful looks of the 2015 Emmys Red Carpet.

Sarah Hyland in Zac Posen with Ofira Rings:

rs_634x1024-150920150421-634.sarah-hyland-2.cm.92015

Flourishing, Sarah made her stamp both in fashion and on the red carpet at last year’s Emmys, and this year she has furthered her reign, triumphing as queen of the Emmys. Differing from last year’s Christian Siriano ensemble, Sarah has gone for a much more mature aesthetic this time round and boy did she knock it out of the park. The simple yet chic Zac Posen creation fits the star like a glove and that neckline is just to die for. What I really love about the look however, is that she kept it young and fresh by placing her bracelet so far up her arm – and those Lorraine Schwartz earrings are just stunning. Her stylist needs a raise!

Sarah-Hyland

Claire Danes in Prada with Cartier jewels and a Tyler Alexandra clutch:

rs_634x1024-150920163332-634.Claire-Danes-Hugh-Dancy-Emmys.ms.092015

Although not always the cream of the crop, Claire has certainly hit the nail on the head for me here. This almost nautical inspired gown is chic and sexy whilst adding a flare of youth into Claire’s style portfolio. Perfect for her boyish figure, this dress is made all the more eye-catching by the thick chains and beautiful embellishment and like Sarah above, she finished the look off perfectly, with minimal accessories being the key in this case.

rs_634x1024-150920163219-634.claire-danes-emmy-awards-2015-092015

Sophie Turner sporting Galvin, Jimmy Choo and Forevermark:

rs_634x1024-150920163927-634.sophie-turner-emmy-awards-2015-092015

Perhaps I’m a tad biased as I am absolutely obsessed with the woman, but someone else who championed the carpet is Sophie Turner. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful starlets to emerge in recent years, Sophie is statuesque and has a regal air about her, which is why she is one of the few who could pull of this look. The pop of the brilliant blue top offsets her red hair with ease and the Forevermark necklace is a spectacular finish. She is breathtaking.

GettyImages-489366288_master.nocrop.w445.h670

Emma Roberts in Jenny Packham with Martin Katz jewels:

GettyImages-489367944_master.nocrop.w445.h670

Old Hollywood Glamour at its finest, Emma is releasing her inner vixen here and I am loving it! Always one to have the smoulder and pout down, Emma has added oomph to her look with sultry, wavy hair and that plunging neckline. If there’s anything that makes me a tiny bit unsure about this dress it’s that I think I would also like to see it in a different colour (red perhaps), but asides from that and in the colour that it is now, she looks marvellous.

Emma-Roberts

Zoe Kazan in Miu Miu:

slide_453142_6072706_compressed

I can already tell that this will be one of the controversial choices of the post, but quite frankly – I don’t care. A demure beauty, Zoe is a relatively unknown starlet, even though she has a lucrative career. That is why I think that this dress is perfect for her. Nominated last night, Zoe turned up in a stunning number, yet still didn’t overdo it as so many other did (keep your eyes of for my worst post later today). She look elegant and quirky, which I think defines her as an actress. Finally, the side-swept bob was another chic yet understated part of her look and it finished it with ease.

Zoe Kazan2

Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell:

rs_634x1024-150920170556-634-lady-gaga-emmy-awards.ls.921015

Dressed in a gown designed by her stylist, Gaga is looking as classy as we’ve ever seen her. This new look is perfect for the star and shows yet another facet to the talented singer/actress. I really appreciate that she donned this gown as she is showing support for her stylist who just released his first ever line at New York Fashion Week. Solidarity in this case has lead to a solid, sublime look.

Laverne Cox in Calvin Klein Collection by Francisco Costa and Fred Leighton jewellery:

GettyImages-489361084_master.nocrop.w472.h670

Can we please take a collective moment and just take in how ravishing Laverne Cox is looking here? Always pretty, Laverne has now turned up the sex appeal to boot! Her body is en pointe and that blue is sublime against her skin-tone. Simple yet sexy – nice work!

slide_453142_6072738_compressed

Jaimie Alexander in Armani Privé:

GettyImages-489359962_master.nocrop.w445.h670

Very different and very chic! This look is certainly a stand out. With a sleek, futuristic vibe, Jaimie is drawing us all in and keeping our attention with the sultry look in her eyes. Modern, edgy and fabulous – this is a great look. Although, I have to say that I wasn’t too keen on her making out with her husband on the carpet – you’re married, keep that for home love…

Amanda Peet in Michael Kors with a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch:

Amanda Peet2

This dress was exquisite on the red carpet. Here, Amanda has been styled perfectly and everything in this look is superb – which is why she made my list of course! One thing that I do have to say though is, that although everything is stunning, Amanda doesn’t quite look comfortable on the carpet. Next time Amanda, make sure to wear the dress and to not let it wear you – great look though!

January Jones in Ulyana Sergeenko paired with Tiffancy & Co.:

GettyImages-489368262_master.nocrop.w442.h670

Jumping to the forefront (see what I did there?) is January Jones in a ravishing green jumpsuit (just in case you didn’t…).

January looks absolutely beautiful here and this is a true example of how you can relate something seen as more casual to a high fashion event. The green complements her skin tone and fair features seamlessly and this is a look which oozes confidence. Well done January!

Niecy Nash carrying a Swarovski clutch:

Niecy Nash 2

This ‘Scream Queens’ star had me screaming with delight when I saw her on the carpet! This is the definition of a dress which fits to your curves. Looking absolutely sensational Niecy’s waist nails and embellished gown all add up to a magnificent ensemble. A bit booby? Perhaps – but hey, if you’ve got them – flaunt them!

Julia Lewis-Dreyfus in Safiyaa paird with Chopard jewels and a Roger Vivier clutch:

Julia Louis-Dreyfus

Finishing off my list of gorgeous gowns is Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The comedy royal’s look was timeless and elegant. This is one of those times where women realise that it’s OK to be simple and chic. Is this something that we’ve never seen before? No. But is is something that I want to see again? Most definitely yes! What Julia is showing here is that if you take off the bells and whistles and just let tailoring and sophistication do the talking then you’re onto a winner.

Although, dresses and jumpsuits stole the show, I just want to leave you guys with a few pictures of my favourite suits of the night:

Landofpod – Visuals.

As you guys know, writing posts is a huge passion of mine. Unlike other bloggers, I do not pride myself on taking pictures of me or others, more so on my writing skills and being relatable in my viewpoints/opinions. This, of course, takes a lot of time – between finding appropriate pictures, writing, re-writing, editing and proof-reading – so naturally, I can’t update posts on a daily basis. Something which I do love though is pictures. Simply pictures. Alone, with no caption, no opinions – essentially standing on their own. What you may not know is that this is something that I also do. On my tumblr I blog/reblog pictures daily which grab my attention, which hold my interest and which undoubtedly, I fall in love with. I find this to be an inspiring, much easier, faster way to keep in touch with fashion and also a way to do it on a daily basis.

For this reason, I am doing a post based solely on some of my favourite pictures from my Tumblr blog : http://landofpod.tumblr.com/. I want you guys to check this out, follow it if you have a tumblr of your own and if not, then just visit it daily, weekly or monthly, just to see what inspires me and will hopefully ignite some fashion flares in your own heart. To end my introduction, below you will find some of my most beloved pictures that I have posted in the past month alone. Have a look, enjoy and tell me how you feel about this other aspect of my blogging:

#TrainwreckTuesday: 17/02/2015 – Kim Kardashian West.

I take it that most of you have seen Kim’s latest stint in LOVE magazine at this stage? Even so, I felt an overwhelming need to add Kim to my #TrainwreckTuesday library as this shoot was an absolute mess. Personally, I am a huge KUWTK fan and think that Kim is adorable, this does not affect my disdain for this fiasco however.

For those of you who have missed out on the scandal, Kim basically did yet another nude shoot and this time it was a full on full frontal! What makes it so much worse though, is the fact that it was not tasteful in the slightest. At this stage in her career, Kim has a multi-million dollar fortune, is a household name and both is and has a huge brand. Not only are all of the aforementioned pretty big reasons as to why Kim should keep her panties on, but she has recently become a wife and a mother – keep your clothes on for goodness sake! I don’t understand why she would feel the need to do a shoot like this? The only fathomable conclusions for me are: 1) vanity, 2) her insecurity that Kendall has taken her spotlight and 3) the fact that she is starting to get that little bit older, thus is afraid of loosing her sex appeal.

Unfortunately, all of the reasons above make her decision that much more pathetic. Fashion is a vast world and yes, nudity does comes into the fold here and there, but for the sake of your 1 year old and our eyes, please keep your vagina between you and your husband. Cheers.

What I find even more ridiculous is the fact that not only does she do nude shots, but she also tries to appear young and cool in a ‘sexy, rebellious teenager’ type of way which is just laughable.

Coincidence that she did this shoot in the same magazine that Kendall was in with Cara Delevingne? I think not!

P.s. that is a horrible picture of her bum…

One thing which I will say however, and something that adds to my frustrations immensely, is the fact that some of the shots in the spread were actually really fashionable. In fact, it was pretty much half and half in my opinion. Steven Klein got some gorgeous pics of Kim where she looked fashionable and tasteful, all of which worked beautifully. I only wish that these were the sole pictures chosen and that her full frontals were edited from the issue. Here are the stills which I have no problem with, and actually quite like:

All in all, I’m just really disappointed in Kim’s taste level and even though we’ve now seen it all, hopefully she will realise that it’s actually sexier to be demure and cover up her bits. What do you think of the shoot?

10 Best Looks of 2014 – Landofpod

What better way to kick off the New Year than by reminiscing upon the triumphs of the last? 2014 has been an amazing year for me, both personally and professionally, but more importantly, it has been an even better year for fashion. Looking back at the year, I hadn’t realised just how many outstanding looks there had been and although a tough task, I’ve manage to find my top 10 looks, which I have blogged about throughout the fashion frenzy that was 2014. So, have a gander through and see my top picks, and remember – if there are any looks which haven’t made it make sure to let me know – I might not have even seen them!

P.s. These are in no particular order – it was tough enough to dwindle it down to 10, nevermind rank them even further.

Let’s begin with one of the best – Blake Lively and Ryan Gosling at the 2014 Met Gala. There’s nothing to say but, “J’adore!” This is how every person on the entire planet wants to look one day.

Another person who stole the spotlight for me at the Met Gala was Emma Stone. She wasn’t the top of everyone’s best dressed lists, but I fell in love with this gorgeous, pink ensemble and as I’ve posted about on https://www.facebook.com/landofpod I am loving the side-braid at the moment.

Next on my list I have a very chic, very sexy, yet quirky look from Jill Stewart‘s collection. I just love the juxtaposition of the grunge styling and the perfect symmetry of the pieces and if I was a girl, this would definitely be the way that I’d like to dress!

Following up, we have a completely different aesthetic with Amal Almuddin gaining worldwide style attention in this stunning pant and top ensemble which she wore to her civil ceremony with George Clooney. This is the epitome of chic, style and class and I don’t think that there has ever been a more perfectly put together outfit.

Going to another runway show, this Monique Lhuillier dress just caught my eye. I don’t know why, but the combination of the model and the dress just draw my attention and even when I saw looks that I almost preferred, this one still won every time. The almost ice-skater-esque dress is beautiful, flirty and pretty whilst maintaining its class. Basically, it’s pretty, it’s stylish and I like it 😛

Without a doubt, Lupita Nyong’o stole the show at the 2014 Oscars is her mesmerizing Cinderella inspired gown. The deep plunge, the volume of the skirt, the Nairobi blue colour and the perfect head-band all add up to not only making this the fashion focus of the 2014 Oscars, but, in my opinion, also making it one of the most iconic Oscar looks in recent history.

2 more slightly grungy looks which I adore belong to Emma Watson and Margot Robbie. Again, although not a look that was loved by everyone, Emma’s 2014 Oscars Vera Wang dress, punk accessories and red lip made me fall in love with her all over again. Personally, I love the direction in which Emma has taken her style and I think that this depart into the grunge world suits her to the tee. Also, she’s always going to look poised and elegant in everything that she wears – she just oozes class.

Also going down a darker route is Margot in this white and black gown. The black sparkled cut-out on the side along with the smokey eyes and sultry hair all add to Margot being a complete sexpot at the The Wolf of Wallstreet premiere. I defy anyone to try and outdo Margot for sex appeal here.

The 2nd last look of the post is this ethereal strapless gown by Elie Saab. I spotted this back in February and automatically fell in love. Fell hard in love. This whimsical nature that this dress emits is stunning and the structured, latticed bodice just adds to it all perfectly. What I love even more about this dress is that when I saw it I said that it would be worn by a young starlet as it is just so beautiful and a mere few months later Lily Collins stole the show in it.

The final female who rose to the occassion for me in this year’s fashion stakes is Sarah Hyland. Sarah is a 100% winner for me in this crop top and skirt combo which she wore to the 2014 Emmys. The crisp white and bold orange look beautiful and chic together and then her nude make-up and big top-knot finish it off to perfection. Look at the beauty here:
