Best Of The Grammys 2015 Red Carpet.

Upon inspection, there were many more disasters than there were triumphs at this year’s Grammy Awards. Thankfully, as always we have our few beauts who stole the fashion spotlight and I’m here to shine it upon them.

My undoubted winner who conquered the carpet with her bold, stylish ensemble is the unstoppable Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift in Elie Saab with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry:

As you will see in this post, Taylor is the only one of my best who wore colour on the night and my God did she do it well. Taylor stunned in this sparkly, turquoise balayage Elie Saab gown. The two-tone shimmer is sensational and I am obsessed with those pink Zanotti heels. Two more elements of the gown which put it into a league of its own are the beautifully cut-out shoulder straps and the gorgeous open over skirt. This is an outfit which by all means could be tacky and not work, but with her keen eye Taylor has edited beautifully, even down to those statement earrings.

Jessie J wears Ralph And Russo:

A close second, Jessie J shocked me on the red carpet. I’m used to thinking she looks nice, or else just bypassing her looks, but she absolutely nailed it this time around. Known for their use of sheer and sequins, Ralph And Russo are a definite for anybody who wants to execute this look with ease. Jessie looks wonderful, the gown is impeccable and I think that her sleek, side-parted bob is just perfect to finish this off with a fashionable twist.

Best Dressed Man: Sam Smith in Armani:

The ultimate Grammy 2015 winner, Sam won 4 Awards on the night and also has gone home with the title of my Best Dressed Man. This chic Armani suit was the perfect choice for the star and he look so handsome! What I love about this look and what cements it as my best dressed, is the cute yet chic white dickiebow. Ever the gentlemen, Sam looks like such a class act.

Big Sean in Saint Laurent:

Second in the running was Big Sean, who looks amazing. Anna Wintour might be against wearing black head to toe, but in this instance, it is a winner for me. Big Sean looks smart, classy and sexy and again, I am loving the dickiebow!

Gwen Stefani wearing Atelier Versace:

Age appropriate, chic as hell, stylish and still sexy – this is the perfect look for Gwen at this awards show. She genuinely could not have done any better – top marks!

Ciara in Alexandre Vauthier:

Ciara just looks wow. The is an impeccable combination of sexy and edgy and she pulls it off oh so well. For a woman who’s had a baby less than a year ago she looks absolutely outstanding and the sleek hairdo is exactly what was needed to let the dress do all of the talking.

Jennifer Hudson wearing Tom Ford:

Simple, elegant and fresh. This is a lovely look on Jennifer and she looks beautiful without trying too hard. The short hairdo and purple lip make the look for me. Glad to see you dressing well Jennifer – please try to keep it up!

Anna Kendrick in a Band of Outsiders suit with Jimmy Choo heels and Venyx World jewelry:

Anna slayed me on the red carpet. Never have I seen her look so sexy and powerful. This is long overdue and something which I am loving. Pulling off a menswear look is very difficult for anyone to do, nevermind a woman who usually dresses to appease a perfectly ‘pretty’ aesthetic. I love this and hope that she continues with her sexy side in the future.

Neil Patrick Harris in Sand Copenhagen:

Neil Patrick Harris is the final star on my list of best dressed at the Grammys and it’s for pure simplicity. I know that a lot of people might think that this look is a bit boring, but what makes it special is the execution. Neil looks dapper and I think that his character Barney would be proud.

That’s it for my awards posts this week. I hope you liked them and I’ll be doing more with the upcoming award shows and of course I’ll be posting about fashion week too.
